Open the DNS workspace and enter a domain name. The tool queries public resolvers to display the observed configuration for that domain. This is useful for verifying recent DNS changes or troubleshooting why a website or email service isn't working as expected.
An A (Address) recordmaps a domain name directly to the IPv4 address of the server hosting the website. Without an A record (or its IPv6 equivalent, an AAAA record), web browsers wouldn't know which server to contact when users type in your domain name.
Mail Exchanger (MX) recordsdirect email to your domain's mail servers. If you are diagnosing issues receiving email, verifying that your MX records point to your email provider (like Google Workspace or Microsoft 365) is the first troubleshooting step.
TXT records store text information for sources outside your domain. They are most commonly used for domain verification (proving you own the domain to a third party) and email security configurations like SPF (Sender Policy Framework) and DMARC, which help prevent email spoofing.
