Trust Is Multi-Signal
No single metric can prove a website is safe. A trust score combines domain age, SSL cipher suites, DNS security keys, redirect hops, hosting characteristics, and threat intelligence databases to calculate a risk assessment.
Transport and DNS Signals
Secure connections (valid TLS certificates, modern TLS 1.3 ciphers, HSTS headers) and robust DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DNSSEC) increase a site's trust profile by preventing impersonation and tampering.
Automated Scoring Limits
A trust score is a decision helper, not a guarantee. A clean score confirms that the server configuration is technically sound and has not been flagged for malware, but it cannot guarantee the editorial honesty of the website.
